Regular Offerings

Pottery Open Studio Sessions

Ticket Price: £25 + materials

Tuesdays 10am - 12pm

Open studio sessions are exclusively for those that have completed our beginner’s course or have previous experience of hand building ceramics.

Join us in our light and airy studio to further explore the wonders of clay with the support, advice and expertise of resident ceramicist Sarah Glazier-Hart. Using hand building techniques, explore your creativity and spend time with other potters whilst enjoying cups of tea and yummy cake.

Clay, glaze and firing will be additional charges based on the size and quantity of pieces you choose to make.

Home School Clay Club

Ticket Price: £99 for a 6 week block

Wednesdays 10am - 11am, next course beginning 5th November

Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get creative together in our Home School Clay Club.

These sessions are designed exclusively for mini wildlings, teaching traditional hand skills and encouraging a connection to nature.

During the 6 week course Wildling Studio owner and potter Sarah Glazier-Hart will gently guide you step by step through traditional hand-building techniques. You will learn pinching, coiling and slab-building as well as decoration techniques and glaze application.

Sarah will guide you step by step through the creation of your very own ceramic pieces using traditional hand buildling techniques. Suitable for beginners as well as the more experienced makers,  you will learn slab-building techniques, ideas for decoration and refined finishing.

Stained Glass Autumn Leaves with Emy Mills

Paint & Sip with Laura Richards

Enjoy a fun evening of painting, seasonal drinks and homemade cake

Join us here at Wildling Studio where we invite you to explore your creative side at our paint and sip evening.  Relax in the tranquility of the studio and soak up the surroundings as we are guided by local artist Laura Richards to create our own unique piece of artwork.

Discover the art of linocut printing in this Autumn Leaves Lino Print Workshop, perfect for beginners!

No prior experience is necessary. In a relaxed and supportive atmosphere, Helen will guide you step-by-step through the process of creating your own linocut.

Festive Lino Printing with Helen Barlow

Discover the art of linocut printing in this Christmas Cards Lino Print Workshop, perfect for beginners!

Helen will walk you through each step of the process, teaching you how to design and carve your own Christmas-themed linocut. By the end of the workshop, you’ll leave with a small set of single-color Christmas cards, ready to share with loved ones.

Festive Modern Calligraphy

Join Elle Crabtree for an introduction to modern calligraphy to make a set of Christmas crackers.

In this calligraphy workshop designed especially for beginners, you will be fully guided through warm up exercises, creating basic shapes and letters with a pointed nib and ink and by the end of the workshop move onto joining letter forms and creating your own calligraphic words and phrases.

This winter create a wreath as wild and natural as you dare.

Get into the Festive Spirit whilst we gather around the fire for wreath making.

We’ll provide all the foliage you need to make your wreath, and whilst the traditional spruce and pine will come from a local tree grower, you’ll be decorating your wreath with responsibly foraged natural treasures, as well as dried flowers grown in my home garden.

Intro to Sashiko with Jess Way

Thursday 20th November, 7pm - 9pm

Join textiles artist Jess Way for a relaxed evening of exploring the traditional Japanese art of decorative stitch, creating beautifully intricate patterns on fabrics.

We will begin by learning the fundamentals of Sashiko, including the history, methods and cultural significance of this craft. We’ll then spend the evening learning a range of different techniques, creating samples throughout the session that explore pattern and how Sashiko is used for mending.

Festive Pottery Workshop

Join us here at Wildling Studio for an afternoon of festive creations. 

As the afternoon stretches before us stay cosy and warm inside the studio creating handmade bespoke pieces for yourself or as a unique gift for a loved one this Christmas. No matter who you are and what level of expertise you have all are welcome at the studio.  Ceramicist Sarah will support you in creating your hand built ceramic pieces: a plate perfect for a mince pie or slab of Christmas cake, and a bowl and spoon - just the thing for brandy butter!

Christmas Pottery for Mini Wildlings

Join us here at Wildling Studio as we get into the festive spirit.

In this pottery workshop exclusively for mini wildlings we will use stoneware clay to make a selection of Christmas pieces, including decorative star Christmas trees and a penguin decoration. Choose to keep your creations for yourself or give the perfect handmade gift to your loved ones this Christmas.
